5 Ways To Stay Healthy And SAVE $$$

In regards to a question I received a few days ago, I'm writing this post not only to answer her question but it will help you as well. The question asked was "what are the best ways to stay healthy and save with this economic trend?

The are many ways to do this and they are quite simple. Hopefully these 5 simple ones will help you.

#1 Cut down on gym expenses in half. If you were paying $100/month at a fitness club, find one that you can afford at $50. Of course some of the amenities may be a little different. The key here you are saving and finding a way to stay healthy.

#2 Prepare your food at home. Even though I know how to cook, it doesn't mean that I don't go out to eat at a nice restaurant. However, I have cut down my expenses in half. In fact, I have more food in my refrigerator now that I can make and go to the restaurant less. It's no difference whether you're earning 250k/year or 5ok/year, you still can save and be healthy if you are disciplined enough. If you don't know how to cook, watch some of the weekly recipes that are posted at www.bodybuzzfitness.com

#3 Exercise at home and the park. If your goal is not to get bulky and gain 10 pounds of muscle mass, you don't necessarily need a gym or a fitness facility to stay in shape and have a great workout. Yes, you'll miss your buddies there, or the social environment of your club. Guess what..! you still can have that at home as well. In fact, it could be more enjoyable than you may think. Again, free challenging weekly home and park exercises are posted at www.bodybuzzfitness.com in Fit Videos, all for free of charge.

#4 Walk more, drive less. If you use your car a lot to go to work or the gym, you can use the bus or the train, or park your car at a different station. This help you accomplish two things. Number one, you are able to walk more, burn more calories, stand a little, and move around more, rather than sitting in a car and driving all day long, which is not so good for your joints, your hips, and back muscles. Number two, you are able to save on high gas prices, and reduce your stress level because you don't have to cope with angry drivers and risking bad accidents, nor a heart attack.

#5 Donate unusable books and clothes to a charity that you can get a tax refund for and use this portion of your salary to participate in something you love. This helps you accomplish two important things. First, you get to be involved in something that you enjoyed as a kid and always loved.

For example, if you missed dancing and liked it a lot, get involve in a jazz/hip hop or ballroom dance class, or ride a horse. You get the idea. Second, you donate for a good cause, you take 1- 5% of your monthly check an allocate to that hobby of yours that you love so much and at the end of the year you get tax deductible for it all. Now, that's great saving and greater joy.

I hope you get involve and use these 5 tips to better your health and your fitness at this point in time. Please leave your comments below and let us know how these tips are helping you.
